Democrats and Republicans are two branches of the same oppressive and corrupt party. Biden's administration has reverted back to targeted immigration enforcement and granted ICE even more power. Was there ever any doubt that the neoliberal establishment was merely using the suffering of immigrants as a pawn for greater power? If it is willing to reverse its position on such blatant human rights violations, then the Biden administration is destined to break all of its more hopeful promises. The families suffering under this government's tyranny are forever broken, and the children who have lost their parents will never forget. A pen stroke could stop this.
